What exceeded expectations
We installed LoyaltyLion for a client doing around €4M GMV, and it worked well as a more serious loyalty setup than the basic points apps. The biggest win was that the client could finally structure loyalty properly around points, referrals and VIP tiers, instead of just giving random discounts. It also connected well with Shopify and Klaviyo, which made the retention side easier to manage.
What was disappointing
The product is strong, but if the merchant does not already know what they want, it can feel a bit heavy. I’d improve the strategic setup flow, not necessarily the features.
