Preorder Wolf lets you accept orders for products you don't have at hand right away.
While setting the correct expectations with your customers regarding when will they get their order. You can enable Preorders for specific products/variants, Collections or All Products. You can also conditionally enable/disable preorders based on whether something is in stock or out of stock or if you have incoming inventory. Limit the number of preorders you wanna accept or Show a delivery text on product, cart, checkout page. This can be used, as follows:

What exceeded expectations
Absolutely incredible app. We have many products that we do not keep in inventory on site, that we order as demand requires - we also run lots of presales on new limited edition collections. Preorder wolf is a FREE solution that allows us to collect customer orders - customize messages (like expected shipping times to manage expectations outright) and then place those wholesale orders to demand, it saves us so much in allowing us to work JIT with some of our suppliers. They are quick to answer and help with issues as well. I've even made suggestions that they've implemented with in days.
What was disappointing
My only issue (and it's a small one) is that I truly wish I could customize shipping messages at the varant level, not just the product level as some of our variants have different SLAS - but again minor.
