Years of use:

More then 3 years

Relationship with this product:

I both used it and influenced the buying decisions

Still use this tool:

Yes

Importance:

Valuable but not essential

What exceeded expectations

It is only good for international shipments, anything domestic can be beat by other providers.

What was disappointing

A lot of features are tied to their paid tier that are normally free on other shipping label providers, specifically syncing orders automatically.

What exceeded expectations

Easyship has been a total lifesaver for my Shopify store. Shipping used to feel like navigating a maze blindfolded, but now it’s almost...easy? (Pun fully intended.) The app’s ability to integrate seamlessly with Shopify and automatically pull in orders has made fulfillment so much smoother. One of the best features is the variety of shipping options it provides—I can offer my customers everything from super-economy to lightning-fast express without lifting a finger. The real-time shipping rates are a game-changer, too. No more playing the guessing game of “will this package bankrupt me to ship?” Plus, the automated label generation and customs documentation have saved me countless headaches. I also love the dashboard—it’s like a command center where I can see where all my packages are, like some sort of shipping superhero. The cherry on top? The support team is fantastic, always quick to answer my questions and never making me feel like I’m asking something dumb (even when I probably am).

What was disappointing

While Easyship has been great overall, there are a few things that make me grumble into my coffee. First, the learning curve when you’re just starting out is a bit steep—there are so many features that it can feel overwhelming, like trying to eat a five-course meal in one bite. Also, while the app offers a ton of carrier options, comparing them isn’t always as intuitive as I’d like. It’s like being handed the keys to a Ferrari and then realizing you don’t know how to drive stick. Another hiccup is that the rates shown aren’t always 100% consistent with what’s ultimately billed by the carrier, which can lead to some unexpected costs (and let’s be real, who needs more surprises in shipping?). Lastly, for smaller businesses, the pricing structure for some of the premium features might feel a bit steep. That said, these are small speed bumps in what has otherwise been a smooth shipping road trip, and the benefits far outweigh the occasional frustrations.
