With the Post & DHL Shipping app you benefit from a quick and simplified shipment process enabling the creation of DHL Paket labels and send tracking IDs to your customers. Prerequisites & Download Check the required customer account credentials as described in the configuration instructions on the website. Not yet a customer of DHL Paket? In the account setup section you'll find the link to request one. Some features require the Shopify CarrierService API.

What exceeded expectations
The DHL Shopify app has exceeded our expectations in terms of reliability and workflow automation. As a brand shipping customized products like our Sooley® insoles, we rely on precise tracking and flexible shipping options — and the app has made that seamless. Label creation, customs documentation, and tracking updates all sync perfectly with our Shopify orders, saving us significant manual work. We were also positively surprised by how well the app handles international shipments, especially given that we offer free worldwide shipping. Overall, it’s made our logistics faster, clearer, and more professional — both for our team and for our customers.
What was disappointing
Overall, the app performs very well, but one area that could be improved is the handling of return labels and multi-parcel shipments. At Sooley®, we sometimes ship multiple pairs of custom insoles to the same customer or need to generate a return label in advance for warranty cases — and this process still requires a few manual steps outside the app. Having a more streamlined workflow for returns or partial shipments directly within Shopify would make fulfillment even smoother. A clearer integration for branded tracking pages would also be a nice addition to enhance the customer experience.
