You'll collaborate closely with CRO specialists, developers, and account managers to create work that doesn't just look great — it drives real commercial outcomes for our clients.
About That Works
We're not trying to be the biggest Shopify agency in the world, just the best.
That Works is a performance-focused Shopify agency working with high-growth DTC brands across CRO, design, and custom theme builds. We partner with 7–8 figure e-commerce brands and obsess over how design, UX, and experimentation drive measurable results.
What you'll be doing
CRO-led UI/UX design
Design across a variety of work: full Shopify theme builds, section redesigns, landing pages, PDP improvements, and CRO A/B test variations
Apply CRO principles to your design decisions — homepage structure, PDP layouts, collection pages, navigation, and information architecture
Balance performance with brand and polish
Design with testing, iteration, and future optimisation in mind
Working in Figma
All design work created and delivered in Figma
Files must be structured, scalable, and easy to adapt post-handover
Use components, styles, and clear naming conventions for long-term maintainability
Deliver work to a standard suitable for ongoing CRO, iteration, and future development
Collaboration
Work closely with CRO specialists, developers, account managers, and other designers
Design with performance and experimentation in mind
Explain design decisions through a CRO and commercial lens
Contribute ideas that improve conversion, AOV, and clarity
Respond constructively to feedback and iteration requests
What we're looking for
You are:
A skilled UI/UX designer with an eye for CRO and commercial thinking
Comfortable working across different types of work — from full builds to quick-turnaround test designs
Experienced with e-commerce and performance-focused design
Commercially aware and able to connect design decisions to outcomes
Reliable, communicative, and collaborative
You have:
Proven experience designing for Shopify or e-commerce stores
Strong UX fundamentals and clean, modern UI execution
Deep familiarity with Figma as a primary design tool
Experience structuring design files for handover and future iteration
An understanding of e-commerce funnels and user intent
Working pattern & benefits
