Stack: Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Gorgias. Ecommerce & Marketplace Manager
Canoga Park, CA | Full-Time | In Office
Thirty Years is looking for an Ecommerce & Marketplace Manager to own the operational side of our digital commerce business across Shopify and our growing marketplace channels. This role will be responsible for making sure our products are built correctly, merchandised accurately, launched on time, and functioning properly everywhere Thirty Years sells online. You’ll work across our Shopify site, retail marketplaces, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other emerging channels while managing the systems, apps, feeds, and integrations that keep everything connected.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, technically comfortable, proactive, and experienced working inside ecommerce platforms. Someone who can move easily between building a new collection in Shopify, uploading a launch to a marketplace, troubleshooting an inventory sync issue, opting into a retailer promotion, and working with a developer to improve site functionality.
You do not need to be a developer, but you should understand ecommerce systems well enough
to identify problems, communicate clearly with technical partners, and manage projects through completion.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning the details and making sure the digital side of the business runs cleanly and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own day-to-day Shopify administration and ecommerce operations.
Build and launch new products, collections, variants, pricing, imagery, descriptions, tags, metafields, and merchandising updates.
Maintain accurate and consistent product information across all digital sales channels.
Manage marketplace operations across platforms such as Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and future retail partners.
Manage Mirakl and other marketplace portals, including product setup, offers, pricing, promotions, inventory, content requirements, and retailer requests.
Coordinate new collection launches across Shopify and marketplace partners, ensuring products, imagery, pricing, inventory, and offers are live and accurate on time.
Manage marketplace promotional opportunities, sale participation, retailer deadlines, and required submissions.
Own Amazon catalog setup and ongoing listing maintenance, including product content, variations, imagery, pricing, inventory, and listing health.
Monitor product feeds, inventory syncing, integrations, and channel connectivity and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Own and maintain our Shopify app ecosystem, regularly evaluating whether apps are functioning properly, still necessary, or creating unnecessary cost or friction.
Identify opportunities to improve site efficiency, backend workflows, and ecommerce processes.
Work closely with our developer on site updates, technical fixes, integrations, and conversion improvements.
QA the website and marketplaces regularly for broken functionality, incorrect pricing, missing imagery, inventory issues, mobile problems, or other customer-facing errors.
Support site merchandising, collection organization, navigation, product recommendations, cross-sells, and other ecommerce improvements.
Partner with Creative and Design to make sure ecommerce assets and product presentation meet brand standards.
Partner with Operations and Warehouse teams to troubleshoot inventory, fulfillment, and marketplace issues.
Maintain launch checklists, marketplace calendars, promotional calendars, and channel-specific deadlines.
Monitor ecommerce tools, platform updates, and new technology that could improve how the business operates.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital commerce, marketplace operations, or a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience working in Shopify Plus.
Experience managing product catalogs, collections, launches, promotions, inventory, and merchandising within Shopify.
Experience with ecommerce marketplaces. Mirakl, Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central, TikTok Shop, Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, or similar platforms are strongly preferred.
Experience working directly with web developers or technical partners.
Strong understanding of how products should be presented and merchandised online.
Strong problem-solving instincts and a willingness to dig into unfamiliar systems.
Interested in ecommerce technology and constantly looking for ways to make systems and workflows better.
Nice to Have
Experience with fashion, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, or another consumer brand.
Experience launching or scaling Amazon.
Experience managing Mirakl-powered retail marketplaces.
Experience with Klaviyo, Gorgias, Loop, Rebuy, Search & Discovery, inventory tools, feed management platforms, or similar ecommerce apps.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or Shopify Liquid is helpful but not required.
How We See the Role
This person will become the internal owner of our ecommerce infrastructure and marketplace presence. You’ll work closely with our growth team, but your job is different from paid acquisition. While our growth team focuses on bringing customers to Thirty Years, you’ll make sure the experience they arrive at is built correctly, functioning efficiently, and ready to convert.
You’ll also be the point person for where Thirty Years sells online. If Nordstrom has a promotion we should participate in, a new collection needs to go live on Urban Outfitters, Amazon needs new listings built, a Shopify app is causing issues, or our developer needs a clear brief for a site improvement, this role owns making sure it gets handled.
