We're Hiring: Ecommerce Manager

Ancoats, Manchester (5 days onsite)

Rosso & Azzurro is looking for an ambitious, commercially-minded Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of our growing Direct-to-Consumer channel across 4 brands, 6 websites and multiple international markets.

This isn't a marketing role, and it isn't a project management role.

This is a true ecommerce leadership position where you'll own the performance of the channel end-to-end, leading a team while being accountable for the metrics that matter: conversion, revenue, margin and AOV.

Working closely with our Head of Ecommerce, Systems & Trade Merchandising, you'll be responsible for:

  • Driving ecommerce performance across multiple brands and territories

  • Owning onsite merchandising and customer experience

  • Leading CRO strategy and conversion improvements

  • Managing international and multi-currency trading performance

  • Acting as business owner for Shopify and the ecommerce technology stack

  • Leading and developing a team of Ecommerce Executives and an Ecommerce Assistant

  • Providing commercial insight that influences business decisions

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a proven track record of owning ecommerce performance in a product-led business

  • Has hands-on Shopify (or similar platform) experience

  • Uses analytics and data to drive commercial decisions

  • Has experience managing and developing people

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where they can take real ownership and make an impact

Why join us?

๐Ÿ† Ownership of a growing DTC channel across multiple brands

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Work with established sport and street fashion brands

Is this job right for you?

Five requirements pulled from the posting.

1.Driving ecommerce performance across multiple brands and territories
2.Leading CRO strategy and conversion improvements
3.Acting as business owner for Shopify and the ecommerce technology stack
4.Has a proven track record of owning ecommerce performance in a product-led business
5.Has hands-on Shopify (or similar platform) experience

Questions you can expect in the interview

Drawn from this posting. None of them repeat on another job.

1.The posting says this is not a marketing role and not a project management role but true ecommerce leadership. What do you do in a normal week that fits that description?
2.You would own performance across 4 brands, 6 websites and multiple international markets. How do you decide which site gets your attention in a given week?
3.The role includes managing international and multi-currency trading performance. What breaks first when a brand sells in a currency it does not price in natively?
4.You would act as business owner for Shopify and the ecommerce technology stack. Tell us about a platform decision you owned, and what you would do differently now.
5.You would lead CRO strategy across several brands. How do you run tests across sites that each have too little traffic to reach significance on their own?
