We’re exclusively partnering with an established premium DTC consumer brand to hire an E-Commerce Manager as the business enters its next phase of digital growth.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership across eCommerce trading, website performance, customer experience and digital development.
The website is a critical commercial channel for the business, and you’ll be responsible for ensuring it performs commercially while delivering the premium digital experience customers expect from the brand.
Alongside day-to-day trading, there is a significant programme of eCommerce platform development and transformation underway. You’ll play an important role in shaping requirements, improving functionality and ensuring the business gets the most from its technology as the digital proposition evolves.
What you'll be doing
Own the day-to-day performance and trading of the eCommerce website
Manage key KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, traffic and checkout performance
Develop and deliver the CRO and website optimisation roadmap
Use customer behaviour and data to identify friction and commercial opportunities
Own digital merchandising across collections, navigation, search and product discovery
Identify opportunities across cross-sell, upsell, recommendations and personalisation
Support ongoing eCommerce platform development and transformation
Work closely with development partners on requirements, functionality, testing and optimisation
Use Shopify, GA4 and other analytics tools to understand and improve performance
Work closely with Marketing, CRM and Creative to ensure content and storytelling support the customer journey and conversion
Identify new technology, apps and integrations that can improve the customer experience
Help shape the longer-term eCommerce roadmap
Manage and develop an E-Commerce Executive
What we're looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong experience managing an eCommerce website within a DTC consumer brand.
Hands-on Shopify experience is essential. Experience working on significant Shopify development, replatforming or transformation projects would be highly advantageous.
You'll also bring:
Strong eCommerce trading and digital merchandising experience
A good understanding of CRO, UX and experimentation
Strong analytical capability across GA4, Shopify and website performance data
Experience working with developers and external agencies
An understanding of how content, creative and storytelling influence conversion
A commercial mindset and confidence working with core eCommerce KPIs
Strong project management skills
Experience operating across international markets would be beneficial
You don't need to have been a Head of eCommerce or have 10+ years of experience.
We're looking for someone ambitious, curious and commercially minded who has already developed a strong DTC eCommerce skill set and is ready to take on greater ownership.
This would particularly suit someone coming from a premium, luxury, lifestyle or other brand-led DTC business, where customer experience and storytelling are as important as trading performance.
