What exceeded expectations
Transtore has exceeded expectations in terms of how smoothly it integrates with Shopify’s native translation system. For our multilingual Sooley® store, it has made managing product descriptions, SEO text, and metafields much easier. The automatic synchronization and real-time updates work reliably, and the user interface feels lightweight and intuitive — even when translating larger product catalogs. It has clearly improved our workflow and reduced the effort needed to maintain consistent, localized content across languages.
What was disappointing
The main limitation we’ve encountered is with dynamic or app-generated content — for example, text blocks created by third-party apps or custom sections in our theme. These often aren’t automatically detected and require manual translation, which can be time-consuming. If Transtore could improve automatic detection and translation for such dynamic fields, or offer a clearer update workflow when content changes slightly, it would make the tool nearly perfect for international e-commerce operations like ours.
