What exceeded expectations
As a hybrid B2B and D2C shop, Shopify's innate invoicing options are not sufficient for our wholesale customers. We really need the ability to create Proforma invoices, credit notes, add in specifics such as HS codes and COO. Sufio has always been very helpful in terms of adding any customizations that we've needed so that the invoices meet our needs. As a small to medium sized business, we don't use Quick Books or another professional accounting software so Sufio has been a reasonably priced compromise. Overall it means nearly all of our invoicing needs and is quite easy to use.
What was disappointing
There have been some limitations to the app, for example the templates are pretty restrictive. And we've been asking for a feature to be able to 'search' for invoices for years now which still hasn't happened. Additionally there is no chat function so it's frustrating to have to wait for a response by email from the App developer.
