Years of use:
More then 3 years
Relationship with this product:
I both used it and influenced the buying decisions
Still use this tool:
Yes
Importance:
Critical for me to do my job
What exceeded expectations
It enables us to connect our Shopify and ebay listings and inventory, updating somewhat regularly and it allows you to create a branded ebay listing template. It's good for the low monthly price
What was disappointing
I wish we could add markups on select items and not have it be account wide. Sync issues with it have caused us to lose our ebay top rated seller status as we oversold a lot of items over a period of time where the inventory wasn't updating properly via inkfrog

Importance:
Valuable but not essential
What exceeded expectations
The platform’s dependability has been rock-solid, and their online chat support really stands out. When something does go wrong which is rare, they’re responsive and solution-focused. It’s clear they take support very seriously and we appreciate that.
What was disappointing
There are trade-offs, as always. On the one hand, the code has been mostly locked down which means stability has improved and new issues are rare. That’s definitely a plus. On the other hand, it also means some integrations aren't keeping pace. For example, Shopify introduced Google Product Category using the standardized taxonomy several years ago. But since those changes were implemented post code lock, Inkfrog hasn’t picked them up. So product types aren’t do not sync to inkfrog and thus to eBay and have to be manually entered for each product. It’s a good reminder of how frozen frameworks can protect reliability but sometimes limit adaptability.
