What exceeded expectations
Easy to program. Sidekick now creates the flows for you, which is nice.
What was disappointing
Flows time out. For example, if you have a flow for releasing order holds and you have a large number of orders on hold, the cycle only runs for 60 seconds and then stops. It doesn't run until the job is done. Really frustrating sometimes.

So for me, Shopify Flow started off rough when first launched, but is surprisingly powerful, and when you combine it with Sidekick and a bit of back-and-forth discussion, you really can unlock a lot of potential. It can be tricky to get your head around, but once you understand the principles, it makes running a store a lot easier.
What was disappointing
I think in the beginning it was pretty rough, but lately every time I try and think of a scenario or a system I want to put in place, and I want to try and avoid using an app at all costs, I most of the time can get there with the Shopify flow or get pretty close. So I have to say kudos to Shopify.
