What exceeded expectations
The regular email updates showing backups are actually running give real peace of mind. Set-it-and-forget-it reliability—exactly what you want from a backup solution.
What was disappointing
Honestly, I've never needed to use it (which is a good thing). Hard to critique something I haven't had to test in a real recovery scenario. If anything, a periodic "test restore" feature to confirm everything works without risking live data would be reassuring.

Solid backup app - does what it says on the sticker - timeline and reliable backups. Allows me to work on clients' stores with peace of mind. I've only ever had to 'rewind' to a previous backup a couple of times, but having this app is great insurance.

Rewind Backups is reliable and user-friendly. As someone who was previously hacked while on a different platform (Wordpress), I do not take backing up my site for granted.

What exceeded expectations
Whenever things have broken down or we've made a terrible mistake on our site, we're able to go back and retrieve what we lost thanks to Rewind, a life saver that allows us to sleep more placidly at night.
What was disappointing
We were on a historical plan and at some point the price went of to $39 per month without us noticing when our tier is for $9 per month. We're now waiting to have this historical error resolved with them.
