AI SUMMARY

Shopify & Marketplace Manager at Kramer America, Inc. | Smartliner USA (hands-on, technical role), Ocoee, FL - On-site, Full-time. Company name is shared once we're in direct conversation with candidates Stack: Shopify, Amazon, Liquid. Fit if you have: Liquid. Salary not stated.

About Us

We're an established direct-to-consumer automotive aftermarket brand selling custom-fit vehicle accessories online and across major marketplaces, with a large, fitment-specific product catalog. Company name is shared once we're in direct conversation with candidates.

The Role

We're hiring a Shopify & Marketplace Manager to own our entire online selling footprint: the Shopify DTC storefront itself, and every marketplace channel built on top of it — Amazon (Vendor Central and Seller Central/FBA/FBM), Walmart Seller Center, and eBay. This is a hands-on, technical role. You should be comfortable inside the Shopify Admin at an expert level — themes, apps, metafields, basic Liquid/HTML/CSS — and equally comfortable running the day-to-day of Amazon, Walmart, and eBay seller operations. Coding ability is a strong plus: the more you can build, fix, and customize yourself, the less this role depends on outside developers.

Responsibilities

Shopify site

  • Own day-to-day Shopify Admin operations: theme edits, page builds, app configuration and integrations, site performance and uptime

  • Troubleshoot and resolve site issues — broken pages, app conflicts, checkout errors, tracking/GTM breaks — without always waiting on a developer

  • Manage the ~1,300-SKU catalog structure: collections, metafields, variants, and product data integrity

  • Write or edit basic custom code (Liquid, HTML/CSS, light JavaScript) for site fixes and enhancements

  • Coordinate with outside developers or agencies on larger builds while handling day-to-day changes in-house

Marketplaces

  • Own the Amazon Vendor Central relationship: purchase orders, chargeback disputes, co-op terms, A+ content

  • Own Amazon Seller Central operations: FBA inventory and replenishment, FBM fulfillment workflows, fee management

  • Own Walmart Seller Center: listings, fulfillment, Walmart Connect advertising, policy compliance

  • Own eBay Seller Hub: listings, Promoted Listings, policy compliance

  • Keep fitment data, pricing, and inventory in sync across Shopify and every marketplace channel

  • Monitor Buy Box win rate, account health, and listing suppressions; resolve issues quickly

  • Report weekly/monthly on channel-level performance, fees, and site health

What You Bring

  • Genuine, hands-on expert-level experience across all of: Shopify Admin, Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Seller Central (FBA/FBM), Walmart Seller Center, and eBay Seller Hub — not just one or two of these

  • Comfort reading and writing basic code (Liquid, HTML/CSS, light JavaScript); any app-building or API integration experience is a strong plus

  • Experience managing a large, fitment-based or variant-heavy product catalog

  • Strong troubleshooting instincts — you can diagnose a broken listing, a tracking issue, or a site bug yourself before escalating

  • Excellent organization across many concurrent platforms and workstreams

Compensation

$80,000–$110,000 base, depending on experience — flexes higher for candidates with strong coding/development skills — plus

Questions you can expect in the interview

Drawn from this posting. None of them repeat on another job.

1.You would own the Shopify storefront plus Amazon Vendor and Seller Central, Walmart and eBay. Which of those is most often run badly, and what does doing it well actually require?
2.The catalogue is large and fitment-specific for vehicle accessories. How do you keep fitment data accurate across four channels that each want it in a different shape?
3.The posting says the more you can build and fix yourself, the less the role depends on outside developers. Where do you draw the line between fixing it yourself and calling a developer?
4.You would work in the Shopify Admin at expert level with themes, apps, metafields and basic Liquid. Tell us about a problem you solved with a metafield rather than an app.
5.The company name is only shared once candidates are in direct conversation. Does that change anything about how you would approach the first call?
