Our team works with leading retail and e-commerce clients on complex projects, with deep expertise across multiple technical domains.

Our e-commerce engineering team is a lean and high-impact squad of veteran full stack engineers with a focus on Shopify development. If you're a seasoned Shopify developer with full stack expertise who's tired of cookie-cutter projects, this is a role where your expertise will have real impact.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Shopify Developer to join our team and take ownership of complex, client-facing e-commerce builds and migrations. You'll be an owner on Shopify and other projects — both headless and native — working alongside our engineering and consulting teams to deliver best-in-class retail experiences.

  • ResponsibilitiesArchitect and develop sophisticated Shopify storefronts, both headless (Hydrogen/custom) and native (Liquid/OS 2.0).

  • Own technical delivery on client e-commerce projects from scoping through launch.

  • Build custom Shopify apps, integrations, and theme components to meet complex business requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with designers, PMs, and clients to translate requirements into polished, high-performance experiences.

  • Follow and improve best practices around code quality, testing, development lifecycles, and quality assurance

  • Integrate third-party platforms and APIs (ERP, PIM, OMS, loyalty, marketing tools, etc.).

  • Contribute to the development of our internal products.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional Shopify development experience, with a strong portfolio of complex builds.

  • Deep expertise in Shopify's ecosystem: Liquid, Shopify CLI, Theme OS 2.0, Metafields, and the Storefront/Admin APIs.

  • Public portfolio of Shopify projects

  • Experience with headless Shopify implementations (Hydrogen, custom React/Next.js frontends).

  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and related front-end tooling.

  • Strong back-end chops — Node.js (or equivalent backend frameworks in other languages), REST/GraphQL APIs, and third-party integrations.

  • Solid Git workflow experience (branching, PRs, code review).

  • Experience with GenAI augmented engineering workflows (Claude, Cursor etc.).

  • Excellent communication skills — you'll be interfacing with clients and cross-functional teams regularly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Wix, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms.

  • Familiarity with retail-specific integrations (ERP, PIM, OMS, loyalty platforms).

  • Background in retail or e-commerce.

  • Fluent in English and French

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.

  • Opportunity to work on high-impact, technically challenging projects across a diverse retail client base.

  • A collaborative team that values craft, autonomy, and getting things done.
