About Wooltari USA

Wooltari USA is an online marketplace specializing in Korean food and lifestyle products, connecting customers across the United States with quality products from Korea. Through our growing network of brands and products, we are bringing Korean food and lifestyle experiences to the U.S. market.

About the Role

Wooltari USA is looking for an E-commerce Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our online store, powered by Shopify. This role will be responsible for executing promotions, managing product listings and website content, and coordinating email campaigns through Klaviyo.

A key part of this position is accurately setting up and managing planned promotions in Shopify—from discount configurations and promotional collections to homepage banners, pre-launch checks, and ongoing monitoring. The role will also support product registration, bundle and set configurations, and Klaviyo email campaigns to help keep our online store running smoothly.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to learn how e-commerce operates in the U.S. market, particularly within the Korean food and lifestyle industry, by gaining practical experience across the full promotion and online store operations cycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promotion Execution & Management

  • Execute seasonal, event-based, and ongoing promotions according to the promotional calendar.

  • Set up Shopify discounts, including discount codes, automatic discounts, Buy X Get Y (BXGY) offers, and other promotional configurations.

  • Build and manage promotional collections and update homepage and category banners.

  • Review pricing, discount conditions, and promotional display settings using pre-launch checklists to ensure accuracy before each launch.

  • Monitor active promotions and promptly identify, communicate, and resolve setup errors or operational issues.

2. Product Registration & Website Management

  • Register new products and maintain product information, including product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, options, tags, and basic SEO settings.

  • Create and register product bundles and sets, and verify inventory synchronization across bundle components.

  • Maintain product collections and manage out-of-stock and discontinued products.

  • Coordinate with the Merchandising (MD) team to support accurate and up-to-date product information and website management.

3. Email & Messaging Channel Operations

  • Create and execute Klaviyo campaign emails and app push notifications, including template editing, audience segment selection, and scheduled delivery.

  • Monitor basic automated flows, such as welcome emails and abandoned cart messages, and support content updates as needed.

4. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and organize promotion performance metrics, including sales, order volume, and conversion rates, as well as email open and click-through rates.

  • Prepare weekly operational reports and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Maintain records of past promotional results so that insights can be referenced and incorporated into future promotional planning.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate schedules, timelines, and requests with the Growth Marketing, Content Marketing, Merchandising (MD), and Design teams.

  • Prepare creative and banner requests with clear specifications and review completed materials to ensure they meet campaign requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of practical experience in e-commerce operations, online merchandising, or digital marketing.

  • Hands-on experience with the Shopify admin platform, including product registration and discount setup.

  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing pricing, discount conditions, and promotional configurations.

  • Ability to manage multiple promotional schedules and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Professional working proficiency in both Korean and English, with the ability to communicate and coordinate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Shopify apps such as Klaviyo and Yotpo.

  • Experience in the food, grocery, CPG, or retail industry.

  • Ability to create or make basic edits to promotional banners using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or AI image-generation tools.

  • Interest in actively using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to improve work efficiency and productivity.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML or Shopify Liquid.

Who We're Looking For

  • Someone who is eager to build practical, hands-on experience in e-commerce operations.

  • Someone who takes ownership of assigned tasks, follows through, and carefully checks their work through completion.

  • Someone who communicates issues promptly and takes initiative to help resolve mistakes or operational problems.

  • Someone who is curious about campaign performance and asks questions such as, "Why did this promotion perform well?" and looks at the numbers to understand the results.

  • Someone who is open to learning new tools and using AI to improve the way they work.

  • Someone who enjoys communicating and coordinating with different teams to keep projects and daily operations moving forward.

What You Will Gain

  • Hands-on exposure to the full e-commerce promotional cycle in the U.S. market, including collaboration on planning, setup, launch, and performance analysis.

  • Practical D2C e-commerce operations experience using Shopify and Klaviyo.
