Ecommerce Manager at Hello Search, Melbourne, VIC - On-site, Full-time. You own its online channel. Stack: Shopify, Klaviyo. Fit if you have: Klaviyo, CRO. Pay: 110K AUD/yr - 130K AUD/yr.

eCommerce Manager | Fashion

Melbourne | Full-time | 5 days onsite

I’m working with an established fashion brand looking for a mid-level eCommerce Manager to take ownership of its online channel.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how the different parts of eCommerce work together, including trading, merchandising, CRM, acquisition and conversion, and enjoys turning ideas into action.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership and the wider marketing team, while managing specialist freelancers across paid media and development.

The role

  • Own the day-to-day trading and performance of the Shopify store

  • Manage onsite merchandising across products, categories, launches and promotions

  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion, AOV and the customer journey

  • Own CRM activity through Klaviyo, including campaigns, automated flows and ongoing optimisation

  • Plan eCommerce activity around product drops, promotions and key trading periods

  • Manage external specialists across Meta, Google Ads and development

  • Monitor performance across digital channels and ensure activity is working together

  • Work closely with marketing and brand to drive traffic and improve conversion

  • Identify and test new opportunities across channels, technology and automation

About you

You’ll ideally be an eCommerce Specialist, eCommerce Manager or similar, with experience in fashion, apparel, retail or a DTC environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong hands-on eCommerce experience

  • Shopify experience

  • Experience with Klaviyo or a similar CRM platform

  • Good knowledge of eCommerce trading and merchandising

  • An understanding of CRO, retention and customer lifecycle

  • A solid understanding of Meta and Google Ads, with experience managing external specialists or agencies

  • Strong commercial judgement and confidence using data to make decisions

  • A proactive, execution-focused approach

You don’t need to be a specialist in every digital channel. The business already has external specialists in place across key areas. What matters is that you understand the channels, can manage those relationships effectively and bring everything together commercially.

This would suit someone who is calm, collaborative and hands-on, with the ambition to take on more ownership and grow with the business.

Drawn from this posting. None of them repeat on another job.

1.The role covers trading, merchandising, CRM, acquisition and conversion together. Which of those do you reach for first when a week of trading comes in below plan?
2.You would plan ecommerce activity around product drops and key trading periods for a fashion brand. What does a drop demand that an ordinary promotion does not?
3.You would own Klaviyo campaigns and flows yourself. Which flow has made the most difference for a fashion brand you worked on, and what was in it?
