AI SUMMARY

Performance Landing Page Designer for DTC ecommerce at Londontown (beauty brand), fully remote from the UK on US Eastern hours (8am to 4.30pm). You design, build and optimise landing pages that take paid traffic from Meta and Google, carrying each ad's hook and angle into the first screen. That means building angle-specific variants at volume, advertorial structures for cold traffic and product pages for warm traffic, a reusable component library in Replo or similar, mobile page speed, and clean Meta CAPI and Google events. You read results by ad, angle and audience rather than blended conversion. Fit if you have: 5-7+ yrs in conversion-focused ecommerce design for paid traffic, a portfolio of high-converting pages (beauty or premium consumer preferred), advanced Figma and Photoshop, CRO and A/B testing, and familiarity with Shopify. Building in Replo, Instant or PageFly yourself is highly preferred. Salary not stated. Applications need 2-3 landing pages with traffic source and before-and-after conversion.

Performance Landing Page Designer & Builder – DTC Ecommerce / CRO

Position: Full-Time, Remote

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM US Eastern Time

Experience: 5–7+ Years

About the Role

Londontown is seeking a highly skilled, performance-driven Landing Page Designer to create, launch, and continuously optimize high-converting ecommerce landing pages.

We are looking for someone who combines exceptional design skills with a strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), performance marketing, and consumer purchasing behavior.

This is not a traditional graphic design or UX/UI position. Our priority is finding someone who knows how to turn paid advertising traffic into customers and can demonstrate measurable results from their work.

The ideal candidate can independently design and build landing pages using Shopify-compatible tools. However, we will also consider exceptional designers who can deliver developer-ready designs and work closely with our development team.

Most of the pages you build will absorb paid traffic from Meta and Google. That means the page is an extension of the ad, not a separate destination, and we expect you to think that way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry the ad's specific hook, angle, and visual language into the first screen of the page, so the promise the user clicked on is the first thing they see

  • Build angle-specific page variants at volume rather than one generic page per product, so each creative angle lands on a page built for that persona and awareness level

  • Design across awareness levels: advertorial and editorial structures for cold traffic, direct product pages for warm and retargeting traffic

  • Build and maintain a reusable component library in Replo or equivalent, so new variants can be assembled in hours rather than built from scratch

  • Ship multiple page variants per week, not one flagship page per month

  • Own mobile page speed as a performance metric, not a technical afterthought

  • Ensure pages fire clean events for Meta CAPI and Google, including scroll depth, add-to-cart, and initiate-checkout

  • Collaborate with Shopify developers when custom functionality or technical implementation is required.

  • Analyze landing page performance split by ad, angle, and audience rather than blended site conversion rate, since paid traffic behaves differently from organic and email

  • Proactively identify new opportunities to improve conversion rates and revenue rather than waiting for assigned projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in ecommerce landing page design, conversion-focused design, or DTC performance marketing design.

  • Demonstrated experience designing specifically for paid advertising traffic, with an understanding of how ad angle and awareness level change page structure.

  • Proven portfolio of high-converting ecommerce landing pages, preferably for beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or premium consumer brands.

  • Advanced Figma skills and strong proficiency in Photoshop.

  • Strong understanding of CRO, A/B testing, consumer psychology, and direct-response design principles.

  • Experience designing landing pages specifically for paid advertising traffic.

  • Strong understanding of mobile-first design, page structure, conversion funnels, and persuasive product storytelling.

  • Familiarity with Shopify or Shopify Plus.

  • Ability to interpret CVR, AOV, add-to-cart rate, and revenue per visitor, and to read them by traffic source rather than blended

  • Experience collaborating with ecommerce, marketing, and development teams.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and execute quickly.

Highly Preferred

  • Hands-on experience building and publishing landing pages using Replo, Instant, PageFly, or similar Shopify page builders.

  • Ability to independently take a landing page from concept through launch without requiring developer assistance.

  • Experience with GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar analytics tools.

  • Experience building and maintaining a reusable component system that enables high-velocity page production

  • Experience with A/B testing tools and structured experimentation.

  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for page customization and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with AI-assisted design and content creation tools.

What We’re Looking For

  • We want someone who thinks like a performance marketer, designs like a creative professional, and takes ownership of results.

  • You should be able to explain not just what you designed, but why you designed it that way and how it performed.

  • We value initiative, speed, experimentation, and measurable improvements over design aesthetics alone.

  • A page that looks good and does not convert is a failed page.

Application Requirements

  • Please submit a portfolio featuring at least 2–3 ecommerce landing pages you personally designed.

For each example, briefly explain:

  • The traffic source the page was built for

  • Conversion rate before and after, plus any change in AOV or revenue per visitor

  • Whether the improvement held beyond the first week or regressed

Tools the company mentioned in the job description.

Is this job right for you?

Five requirements pulled from the posting.

1.5–7+ years of experience in ecommerce landing page design, conversion-focused design, or DTC performance marketing design.
2.Advanced Figma skills and strong proficiency in Photoshop.
3.Strong understanding of CRO, A/B testing, consumer psychology, and direct-response design principles.
4.Familiarity with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
5.Hands-on experience building and publishing landing pages using Replo, Instant , PageFly , or similar Shopify page builders.

Questions you can expect in the interview

Drawn from this posting. None of them repeat on another job.

1.Most pages you build would take paid traffic from Meta and Google, so the page is an extension of the ad. Walk us through how you turn one ad angle into a landing page's first screen.
2.The role asks for multiple page variants per week using a reusable component library in Replo or similar. How do you set up a component system so new variants take hours, not days?
3.You would design advertorial structures for cold traffic and direct product pages for warm traffic. What changes in structure and copy between the two?
4.The posting asks you to analyse results by ad, angle and audience rather than blended conversion. Tell us about a page that looked weak on blended numbers but worked for one audience.
5.Applications must say whether an improvement held beyond the first week. Tell us about a win that regressed, and why you think it did.
