Is this job right for you?

Five requirements pulled from the posting.

1.3+ years of proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer
2.Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Git version control, and Shopify CLI toolchains.
3.Proven experience implementing server-side tracking, custom GA4/GTM data layers, and third-party marketing pixels.
4.Working knowledge of enterprise ERP/PIM/OMS system integrations using REST, GraphQL, and webhooks (e.g., Fulfill.io, NetSuite, SAP).
5.Ideal candidate would have official Shopify Developer certifications (e.g., Shopify Web Developer Certification).

Questions you can expect in the interview

Drawn from this posting. None of them repeat on another job.

1.Bed Bath & Beyond Canada is being rebuilt from the ground up with a founding team. What do you insist on getting right in the first build because it is painful to retrofit later?
2.The role covers payment gateway integrations under PCI-DSS, with Apple Pay, PayPal and Klarna. Where does PCI compliance constrain what you would otherwise build in a Shopify theme?
3.You would build API integrations to ERP, PIM, WMS and OMS. Which of those has caused you the most trouble, and what was the failure mode?
4.The posting asks for server-side tracking and custom GA4/GTM data layers. Why move tracking server-side, and what do you give up by doing it?
5.You would own site speed and conversion optimisation alongside feature work. How do you stop a storefront getting slower as features pile up?
