About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead the performance and day-to-day operations of our online business. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing the customer experience, and ensuring seamless execution across our digital storefront.
This is a critical leadership position that will own the digital P&L and play a key role in scaling our online business to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Store Operations & Experience
Oversee the day-to-day management of our e-commerce platform (Shopify), ensuring site functionality, uptime, and performance
Continuously optimize the customer journey, navigation, and overall user experience
Partner with developers or agencies to implement site enhancements and improvements
Merchandising & Product Management
Manage product assortment, categorization, and on-site merchandising strategy
Oversee product launches, ensuring accurate setup, pricing, imagery, and descriptions
Execute promotional campaigns, seasonal updates, and homepage refreshes
Analyze product performance and optimize assortment based on data
Performance & Analytics
Monitor and report on key performance indicators including conversion rate, average order value (AOV), traffic, and revenue
Identify opportunities to improve conversion and drive incremental sales
Develop forecasts and track performance against business goals
Leverage data to inform decision-making across merchandising, pricing, and promotions
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with marketing to align on campaigns, traffic-driving initiatives, and promotional calendars
Partner with fulfillment and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory, timely shipping, and strong customer experience
Serve as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external partners
Growth & Optimization
Continuously test and optimize site performance (CRO), including landing pages, product pages, and checkout flow
Identify opportunities to expand product offerings and improve pricing strategies
Support SEO and on-site search optimization efforts
Qualifications
4–7+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital retail, or direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses
Hands-on experience managing platforms such as Shopify, Klaviyo, SKUlab
Strong understanding of digital merchandising, customer experience, and online retail operations
Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
Experience managing product catalogs, promotions, and site content
Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, etc.)
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
Background in retail merchandising or consumer products
Experience scaling an e-commerce business in the $1M–$5M revenue range
Familiarity with SEO, email marketing, and performance marketing concepts
