AI SUMMARY

Ecommerce Manager, Site Experience at NHC (Natural Health Co., supplements and health products), hybrid from the Franklin, TN office with remote candidates also considered, working with the Director of DTC. You own the performance of the nhc.com storefront, with the same work carried over to professionalsupplementcenter.com, and are measured on three results: site conversion, how well landing pages, collections and PDPs perform, and how well merchandising and search help customers find products. That means building landing pages to the growth team's brief, running and logging conversion tests, maintaining brand collection pages with Merchandising and brand partners, and managing site search synonyms, redirects, ranking rules and zero-result queries. Fit if you have: 2+ yrs in ecommerce site management, merchandising or CRO for a DTC brand or online retailer, hands-on Shopify or Shopify Plus page building, and proven conversion improvements with data (BOOST, A/B tools and supplements experience are a plus). Salary not stated.

Work Environment:

Ability to work a hybrid schedule from the Franklin, TN office. Remote candidates will also be considered.

About The Role:

The Ecommerce Manager, Site Experience owns the performance of the nhc.com storefront, duplicating efforts on professionalsupplementcenter.com, and accountable for three results: site conversion, the effectiveness of landing pages, collections, and PDPs, and how well site merchandising and search help customers find the right products. The role sits at the center of the storefront’s working teams. It builds the pages that the growth team’s traffic lands on, assists in the execution of the retention team’s offers and experiences on site, and partners with graphic design to turn creative into pages that convert. Success is measured weekly against the company scorecard. The Specialist works independently on daily storefront operations, with priorities set with the Director of DTC.

Essential Functions:

  • Build and optimize landing pages for campaigns, promotions, and paid traffic to the growth team’s brief. Report page-level conversion back to growth so traffic and page performance are evaluated separately.

  • Own sitewide conversion rate. Diagnose drops, identify friction across product pages, collections, cart, and checkout, and drive fixes.

  • Plan, run, and document conversion tests. Roll out winning changes and keep a shared log of results.

  • Build and maintain brand collection pages to a consistent NHC standard: brand story, imagery, product organization, and current assortment.

  • Work with Merchandising and brand partners to keep brand pages accurate and launch new brands on site.

  • Manage on-site merchandising: homepage and category placements, collection sorting, cross-sells, and bundles aligned to the promotional calendar.

  • Manage site search: synonyms, redirects, ranking rules, and filters. Review zero-result and low-click queries weekly and act on them.

Core Compentencies:

  • Test-and-learn mindset: forms hypotheses, tests them, and lets results settle debates.

  • Attention to detail: catches errors in pricing, claims, and product data before customers do.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: works smoothly with Marketing, Merchandising, brand partners, and IT.

  • Customer orientation: designs pages and navigation around how customers actually shop.

  • Analytical thinking: reads site data, isolates the cause behind a number, and acts on it.

  • Comfortability with high autonomy in work management.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years in ecommerce site management, merchandising, or conversion optimization for a DTC brand or online retailer.

  • Hands-on Shopify (or Shopify Plus) administration, including building pages with themes or page-builder tools.

  • Demonstrated record of improving conversion or page performance with data.

Preferred

  • Experience with A/B testing tools and heatmap or session-recording tools.

  • Experience managing on-site search and merchandising tools (e.g., BOOST).

  • Experience in supplements, health and wellness, or another regulated consumer category.

Questions you can expect in the interview

Drawn from this posting. None of them repeat on another job.

1.You would be measured on site conversion, page performance and how well search and merchandising help customers find products. Which of those would you work on first at nhc.com, and why?
2.The posting asks you to report page-level conversion back to the growth team so traffic and page performance are judged separately. How would you set that up so neither side blames the other?
3.You would manage site search, including synonyms, redirects, ranking rules and filters, and review zero-result queries weekly. Tell us about a search fix that changed what customers bought.
