We had three main goals with our research:
1. Understand what options brands consider when building their mobile apps.
2. If they already have a mobile app, what issues are they running into with their current provider.
3. Get feedback on our approach and whether it's a better fit for merchant workflows.
Prior to this, we tried getting feedback through cold outreach. While we had some success, it was difficult to cut through the noise and get more than a few calls booked with our ideal customer profile per month.
